About the house
Let us take you through the house and the rooms. The house was furnished in a contemporary style for guests looking for an inclusive (adapted for everyone), comfortable and relaxing place to stay with friends or family.
From the open kitchen and dining room you can look out over the landscape for miles.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a combi steam and baking oven with reheating function, a kettle, a coffee maker, a toaster, a mixer, an orange juicer, oil, basic herbs, coffee and tea.
The living room is the place to relax together by the fireplace.
In the living room you will find a fireplace, two sofas that can also be combined, a shelf with books and board games, a television and a Bluetooth radio. For the little ones there is a table with drawing materials, children's books, puzzles and games.
On the ground floor you will find a spacious, accessible room with a private bathroom with an adapted washbasin that, a shower with seat and grab rails and a hairdryer.
This large bedroom (36m2) has an electrically adjustable double box spring, 1 bunk bed, 1 baby bed, a lowered clothes rack, a sofa and an electric sit/stand desk..
Taking the stairs you reach the mezzanine with a beautiful view of the Zwalm valley.
On the mezzanine you will find another sitting area. The 2-person sofa forms a solid sofa bed from the Belgian bed manufacturer Revor.
Upstairs you will find 2 spacious bedrooms.
The large bedroom on the east (30 m2) has 1 double bed (divisible bed), 2 single beds, a clothes rack, a desk and a couch.
The large west-facing bedroom (30m2) has 2 double beds (1 of 180cm and 1 of 160 cm), a clothes rack, a desk with sitting ball and a sofa.
In the mirrored bathroom it feels like you are bathing in the forest.
The mirrored bathroom has a sink, bath, toilet, hairdryer and magnifying mirror.
The shower bathroom has a sink and a spacious shower with a bench.
Upstairs you will find another small bathroom with toilet and sink.
A large double opening window opens onto the private garden with terrace and a view of the adjacent forest.
The large garden (10 a) is quietly situated and has a terrace, a wood-fired barrel sauna with a view of the forest and an outdoor shower with hot and cold water.

Sualma has a heart for little people. In the living room you will find a table with drawing materials, children's books, puzzles and games. A high chair, made-up baby bed, extra folding baby bed, baby bath, potty and changing pillow are available. In the garden there is a wooden playhouse with slide and sandbox.

Sualma was renovated with ecological materials. The house was thoroughly insulated and restored with ecological materials. The house is heated with underfloor heating and a heat pump. The electricity is supplied by Ecopower and comes 100% from local renewable energy projects.
The garden was redesigned with local plants and water-permeable paving. The waste water is purified on site in a plant field.
We clean with ecological products and use linen from De Witte Lietaer with Green label. There is a compost bin in the garden and we sort thoroughly in our garage.
